The house is located in Villalonga, a small and quiet village 10 km far from Gandia and its lovely blue flag beach. The village has all the amenities you may need: supermarket (Mercadona), street market twice a week (Tuesday and Friday), pharmacy, GP centre, bars and restaurants, etc... Villalonga’s most precious treasure are its landscapes and beautiful mountains, with a lot of walking and bike routes to enjoy the river and mountains.
A brand-new house built following the old style construction rules and decoration standards (high ceilings, big windows, wide walls, staircase done as the old builders use to build them in the area, stone walls, wood beams). All new technologies are included, such as wifi, TV and telephone connection in all the rooms, and pre-installation for air conditioning and TV Dolby surround system in the living room. Also, it is very well insulated, has double glazed windows and central heating.
All the tiles in the house are handmade and were bought in local factories. The roof tiles in the patio were recovered from the previous house that was in the land. The tiles in the patio sink came from Mexico and the sink is an old stone trough from a farm. The stones in the patio floor are from Villalonga river, and the stones in the walls are the original ones in the wall after removing the painting/plaster.
